Enough demo pictures (for now)! Let me show you the good stuff. Here's what we're planning for our new, spiffy kitchen.
It's going to look something like this:
I cannot say enough good things about working with the Home Depot. I never in a million years would have thought I'd be so impressed by them, but they have been such a pleasure to work with. If you're ever in need of a kitchen and you live anywhere near Rockland, MA, work with Paula. She's the best!
And here's the view into the eat-in-kitchen and family room:
You can see we're adding a little beverage center where the pantry used to be. Here's a closer look:
I'm really excited for this! We've already purchased the wine fridge and sink so there's no turning back now. I'm planning to keep coffee and wine glasses, etc. in this area.
We went with KraftMaid cabinets in Canvas, with a Cocoa Glaze.
We also went with the Home Depot for our granite. They're able to offer the best price, hands down. We chose Giallo Ornamental:
I was really excited when I heard my sister used the same granite. It looks fabulous in her kitchen and she has exquisite taste!
We're still not 100% commited to our backsplash yet but we're thinking of going with Luxor Valley tiles:
It's hard to tell but it's got a great mix of browns, taupes, cream, and a greyish blue. I also love white subway tile but Jeremy thinks it might be too plain.
So that's what we're thinking! Hope it all comes together in the end.
